TwonkyMusic provides the full set of features available with TwonkyMedia - with the only exception that it is restricted to music content.

If your music and audio books collection is constantly growing and it became difficult to find the right items just by organizing them according to artist, genre or album TwonkyMusic is the right choice for you.

TwonkyMusic provides you with a much more flexible navigation structure than any other media server. Most media servers just organize your music according to your own folder structure and - if you are luckky - organize your tracks into the categories Artist, Album, Genre, and all Tracks. But there are much more comfortable ways to navigate to the desired track. TwonkyMusic provides you by default with a further navigation level including categories like Genre/Artist, Artist/Album, Year/Album, Year/Artist, and Alpha/Artist. Alpha group search is in particular very convenient when your client devcie only has a very small display.

Examples of the default navigation tree of TwonkyMusic are shown below (root level as well as extended). Please note, that this is only an example for the structure. The actual layout is determined by your music client. In addition to this default navigation tree you can easily create your own navigation structure including further levels like Genre/Artist/Album or hirarchical alpha levels. An exampls is shown below. For further details are explained by the online help inbuilt into the server's web-based configuration pages.

If you share your PC with other family members and are fed up with navigating through artists you either don't like or never heard about, you can set up different instances of TwonkyMusic for each family member and personalize it. Next time you start your personal server you will only see the stuff you like to listen to.
